About Me:
I must begin by saying that I feel truly blessed to be given the opportunity to reach you all here on such an intimate level with this work. I can think of no greater cause than to help facilitate a “reconnection” between an individual and their Core Self, as if true separation from our Core—one which we all share—is ever really possible. Inevitably, as so many of us often spend our lives in such an estranged state within our families, our communities, and even within the world at large, we are apt to believe we are alone—especially when we have turned our backs on our very selves (or our Self). I am here to explore with you, in a safe space, the fractured aspects of that Self which you may have “left behind” without resolution in your struggle to keep up with times and paradigms, or even to “escape” experiences which, for whatever reason, you may not have been able to assimilate into your own personal narrative, and to assist you in picking back up those precious pieces of your life and reassembling them back into the unique expression of wholeness which you envision for it.
I hold degrees in Psychology, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Health, and am currently in the process of completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of California, Davis, and pursuing a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University, with which I look forward to offering a range of holistic services from my own practice someday to anyone seeking preventative and/or interventional therapies for physical, mental, and/or emotional dis-ease. My related occupational experience consists of service in the human and animal health fields as a nurse aid and veterinary assistant, catering to the neonatal, orphaned, geriatric, ill, and disabled, and in adult and child education as a “teacher,” tutor, and care provider.
On a more personal note, as a child, I spent the majority of my formative years traveling and living abroad, growing up overseas, on the road, and in the air. I am adaptable and can relate to others across many dimensions of diversity, for I have seen, and heard, and felt the common thread that binds us all beyond time, space, species, sex, and race... beyond religion, nationality... we are One.
I also know well how it feels to build a life (after life) from rock bottom. I am all too familiar with questions that arise from crises which challenge all that we ever imagined we might know about everything around us, including who we are at our very essence. I have a special interest in shining light upon and nurturing that essence, and bringing back into pure congruence the body, mind, and heart—in a return to Soul and Source Consciousness.
